Monday Made It! Letters, Planners, and Minions, Oh My!

Howdy folks! Today I'm linking up with 4th Grade Frolics for my very first Monday Made It!! Now with the new baby, I don't get much time. But I use every minute of naptime for something these days...mostly laundry and dishes (ugh). But I have made a few things lately and I thought I would share!

My first "Made It" was put together for my baby girl's nursery. I desperately wanted those fancy letters that spell her name on the wall, but I wasn't about to pay upwards of twenty bucks a letter for them. So I took it upon myself and my clipart/computer skills to come up with a matching set of letters just for her wall. $3.00 frames from Walmart and I had a pretty little way of putting her name up.

And on to the next one!
My next Monday Made It is my teacher planner. I've already blogged about it here so I'll just add in a photo for you!

And one more, just for good measure!

My last Monday Made It is my favorite! I always struggle with bulletin boards. I've been using the same one for four years. It was nothing fancy....Just a welcome sign with circle cutouts with the kids names put on them. This year I wanted something new and fun to put up for the beginning of the year and I couldn't think of anything more fun than MINIONS!! I love those little yellow guys and they make my daughter laugh hysterically. So I decided to put together a Minion themed bulletin board. Here it is in all its glory...lying on my kitchen floor since I can't get into the school building until the end of the month.

The final board will read "Meet My Minions!" I love it and can't wait to put it up!

That's all I have for today, but stop in soon for more! Be sure to check out the other Monday Made Its by visiting 4th Grade Frolics and hopping through the linky party!

  4. I love the minions! That was my Halloween costume last year. I love the framed letters. It's great when you can replicate something that is expensive. I think it comes out even better!

  9. Those minions are so cute! Your kiddos will love them! I HATE having to wait until we have workshop week to get some of my handouts that I like to include in my teacher planner, but this is definitely the way to go! A simple binding and 100% customizable... love it! I've always gone to Fed Ex Office and it costs about $7.00- I'll have to see if some others are cheaper for the binding part.

  10. I found you at Fourth Grade Frolics for Monday Made It! I love, love, love your minions! That's such a clever idea. I know your bulletin board will look great! I have to say I keep my boards the same, too. It's not my favorite thing to day:) I love the signs you made for the baby's room, too. Digital paper and clipart are so great. Thanks so much for sharing!

  12. I LOVE the Minions too, I'm working on a post for tomorrow's (my first) Monday Made-It! It includes minions as superheroes. I know it must've taken you forever to cut out all those minions!
