Introductions and a Promise

Good Morning Everyone! As I sit here in the dark, at five in the morning, I can think of nothing more than the need to go back to sleep. However, I choose to stop in and say hello. It has been quite a long time since I blogged, and I've had a pretty good reason.

You see, I've recently become a mommy of two, rather than a mommy of one. That's right! Baby number two arrived on April 21st of this year, and the past six weeks have been a whirlwind of sleepless nights, diaper changes, and full on freak-outs by my eight year old. And now I'd like to introduce you to the cause of all this wonderful chaos.... Avery Rose--my seven pound bundle of joy!

There she is...in all her naked baby glory. She has grown so fast and doesn't really look like the little tiny thing you see above. So here's my girl now..

The baby fat rolls are starting to set in and she's looking more like her daddy every day. We're doing a bit better with sleeping at night. Up until this point, she stayed awake all night and slept all day. But, we're getting about six hours a night and I'm perfectly fine with that.

But for now, I will close and make the promise that I will be blogging once again...when Avery allows it that is..
